Took me a while to sort out..

Managed to track down the pulley on its own, 79+VAT from renault, and even cheaper 70 from a factors including vat and postage, but then I needed the tooling to get it off, 26 for a six part kit.

So for 96 I could change the pulley, checked again with a local factor and they could supply me with a remanufactured 120amp alternator with new pulley for 96+vat, so that was the better option.

Fitted today and very happy, engine much smoother on the idle and alot quieter, doesn't seem to dip so much between first and second on start off. Old alternator must have been braking the engine slightly.

regards all
