Renault Clio Front Wheel Bearings
My partners Renault Clio (1999 Ph1) has started making an awful noise above 60mph. I'm suspecting it's a wheel bearing but will know for sure this weekend when I take a look at it. I've replaced the back ones not long ago, so I presume it's a front one.
It seems the front wheels bearings aren't quite as simple as the rears?
I've watched a couple of videos on the procedure and it seems possible if I can find a press to borrow.
However, in the above video they remove the driveshaft flange (around 1:40 into the video) They then remove a bearing inner ring from this flange (without saying how I might add
). However, no kits seem to come with this inner ring? They just come with 1 bearing?
Does the bearing split in two after being fitted/during removal?
Or is this a separate part I have to buy ontop of the wheel bearing kits (which include bearing, circlip & driveshaft nut)
Thanks for the help
