Hi i would not remove them my friend to be honest,but yes is the answer to your question the air flow will increase but i beleive when you service them by replacing them this will help increase your air flow,you also need them to stop the car from steaming up in the the winter and to help with pollen entering the cabin as they do help all the best Donald
