There is absolutely nothing wrong with aftermarket parts,as long as they are of a decent quality.
Renault don't make all of their own spares anyway,companies like Valeo,Bendix,Bosch,etc,etc make components for the cars when they are built new,and they all provide aftermarket parts......
Many will disagree with me,but companies like GSF or Eurocarparts do provide parts from slightly lesser known companies,and I have had problems with some of them before,and they don't always specify what make of part your going to get.As I said,this is just my experience.
I would always get a quote from a main dealer for a part,and then see how much you can save.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
