I haven't checked in person, but according to the handbook it still takes H1 halogens for the main beam. Though I've never considered carrying a spare main beam headlamp bulb because I've never actually had one fail. They get so little use relative to the other bulbs that they've invariably outlived my cars, even when they've done well over 100K.
