Colour matching body parts
Being the eejit that I am I had a bit of a mishap involving a lamp post, resulting in me needing a new o/s wing. I have a bit of a dilemma as to what to do. My three housemates are automotive engineers, and will fit the new wing no probs, but the problem is getting one. I've been holding out for the right colour, as the car I have was only produced in three colours in the year it was made. I figured if I could get a 2nd hand wing it would be the best match. Three months on I've not found a blue wing, but have been offered new wings in primer, or second hand ones in silver.
So do I:
a) Hold out a bit longer in the hope of getting a blue wing. Cost ~ £55
b) Go for the wing in primer, or the silver, and get it sprayed hoping it will match. Cost ~£100?
c) Swallow my pride and go to my nearest Renault dealer and say sort it out. Cost £Loads.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
