I've got a Grand Espace IV (model year 2004) with xenon headlights.
I recently found out that the low beam on the passenger side is aimed too low.
The automatic adjustment seems to work, since the beam angle is adapting to different load.
I noticed a white knob on the back of the headlight housing (looks like a cog-wheel) but turning this doesn't seem to make a difference.
Is it, at all, possible to do any mechanical adjustments of the low beam angle, or is it all in software?
If yes, then where do I find the adjustment screws?
Do I need to remove any cover to reach them?
I'd be really thankful for any advice.
If its the same as the Laguna then the adjuster is in the top of the actuator. The two actuators for lamp adjustment are fed by the same signal from the auto adjust computer so there is no separate software adjustment. Sounds like you may have a mechanical issue associated with the actuator and this manual adjustment. It's probably worth while removing the actuator and taking a close look.
