Brake Rumbling Sound

So my car (1.2 Clio 03plate) has a strange problem. When I start it up and get going, if I try to use the brakes, they make a rumbling noise and I can feel a vibration in the brake pedal. However, once I get the car to around 28mph and keep it there for around 8 seconds, the ABS warning light and the service light turns on and the rumbling stops and the brakes work perfectly fine until the engine is turned off and then the process is repeated.

Anyone got and clues as to what this is? ABS sensor is what I think but I know nothing about cars unfortunately! :')
