Only 5 minutes on the forum and replies already. Thanks Guys, I have been looking on the forum regarding the Top Dead Centre Sensor, and although I haven't got a mechanical bone in my body the pictures of a forum member replacing one seamed easy enough so may try and give it a clean to see if that sorts it out.
One other question if I can.
I get a metallic vibration sound coming from underneath when I accelerate. I took it to one well known Tyre and exhaust specialist who said it was Catalytic Converter that had worn and said it would cost me about £180 for the replacement part alone. I took it a similar well known tyre and exhaust specialist for a second opinion who told me that my exhaust was fine and that it was the heat shield situated under the catalytic converter that was rattling slightly, thus causing the vibration noise.
He said that in order to rectify the problem they would have to remove the cat in order to get to the heat shild and advised me just to leave it.
Any suggestions, should I just leave it?
