Maybe thats hit the nail on the head. If the vehicle is regulary driven by one person you get used to it. We all have slightly different driving styles and therefore bushes, bearings etc will all vary slightly over time and the car will feel different.
I can jump in anyones car and drive it no problem (i regularly drive a few different cars). But when i get back into my own, my brakes, clutch etc all feel different
