If you're going to bleed brakes without the tube fitted to the bleed nipple, you need to wrap some cloth round it and only open it very slightly.
Let the fluid trickle out.
Close the nipple once the pedal is down, then let pedal up.
Then put slight pressure on the pedal and open the nipple again. The pedal should slowly drop.
If you see air bubbles come out with the fuid, you had air trapped somewhere.
You don't need to pump the pedal each time.

Do the up/down bleed process at least 10 times to get fresh fuid through the pipes and caliper.

Clean spilled fluid with brake spray.

You can leave the reservoir lid unscrewed and keep topping the fluid up.

Your brakes will be a little bit spongy until the pads bed into the disc.
I'd advise changing the pads on the other side so they will match.
Different manufacturers use different material that wears at different rates and grips..guess what.?...differently.

The window fault could be switch, motor/regulator, wiring or the UCH (body control unit) behind the interior fusebox.
If it had one touch facility, the switch tells the uch to raise or lower the window.

Would remove door card and test for a live and earth to the motor when swich pressed to go down.
