Hi Anthony - glad you got it sorted and I would agree with your recommendations regarding the bolts holding the undertray. I had similar difficulties - I used an angle grinder to remove the stubborn ones and when refitting I drilled new holes along side and fitted heavy duty self-tapping screws - ones with 10mm hex heads - well coated with copper grease. Whilst I had the undertray off I made a modification by cutting a small opening (6" X 6" square) directly under the sump drain plug. I then drilled a series of small holes at each corner of the opening and then secured the piece I cut out back into position with nylon cable ties. Next time I change the oil all I've got to do is cut two of the cables ties open the door and hey presto - drain the oil . The modification should make oil changes much handier in the future.
