I got my first Laguna up to about 120K without a single major fault. The water pump sprung a leak once, but only after a piece of motorway debris hit it, so I don't really count that.
The second one hit 118K (I took a record of the exact mileage.) It had a gearbox re-build at 101K and was plagued by various leaks (
, power steering etc.) throughout its life. I thought the car was a lemon until the one that followed. The new owner has done another 20K in it since, and in that time it's needed very little doing to it.
The third one only got to 84K. It too needed a replacement gearbox (at around 70K I think) though I think that was secondary to one of its numerous
leaks. Other major problems included injector and sensor faults, and failure of the power steering rack and pump.
The fourth one's up to 7K so far. No serious problems to report yet, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
