Laguna ABS Pump

Hello folks.
My issue today is with a 05 plate facelift Laguna with a none responding ABS ECU and decided to investigate further only to find that the bracket that its attached to is totally rotten away and pump is only supported by the brake lines so I am wondering if the ecu has indeed got water into it and cooked it slightly. My question is the numbers on my abs pump end in AAY6 but most pumps are AAY1 can I use a pump with a different number just to see if it will respond to CLIP or must it be exactly the same numbers. There is power getting down to the ecu and fuses are all ok. I downloaded a wiring diagram for it but not sure how accurate it is. Any help given is much appreciated. Thanks
