Yeah the labour charge is a killer Sporty, Huge variation within the dealership network, I am reasonably fortunate to have a main dealer who are one of the cheapest in the country and a I have very good relationship with them.

I usually ask for a fixed price menue for all work like brakes etc.

It is many years since I have paid for any work outside normal servicing even then I rarely have paid for the first service.
