Emma - you will need to remove the complete aerial that includes the motor and capstan as not even you will be able to get it out through the wee hole in the wing or where-ever. You will need to get behind wherever it is situated - take it all to the bench re-assemble and then re-fit.
Once you get to the back you should be able to hold whatever is spinning.
