Sounds like degradation of the pads etc, maybe due to age.

The 2 studs that secure the disc in place will have to be removed using "easy outs" (stud/screw extractors) You need to drill with a smaller diameter drill and these "easy outs" have an anti-clockwise screw on them so as they tighten into the stud it unscrews the stud. (They are available from ebay for less than 10 a set. You tube has video's on how to do it. Use some WD40 on the screws, don't worry about getting it on the discs as you're going to change these anyway. You will need new screws, try a local hardware supplier as they tend to be much cheaper than a parts dealer.
