you need to get two things for you head unit to work with you steering wheel controls. You need to get a vehicle interface and a radio interface.
If you take a look here Car Audio Direct - The UK's leading car audio and stereo resource.
it shows you the radio interfaces you just need to select the make of your head unit.
And here Car Audio Direct - The UK's leading car audio and stereo resource.
Is ther Renault Vehicle interfaces you just need to find the one that is compatible with your car
With those two you can retain your steering wheel controls and all the functions of you dash display and it will show the brand of you rhead unit when you are not doing anything.
Hope this helps you out
