thanks for the advice .the electric park brake is a nightmare .mine works ok but i get the check parking brake warning .this has been the case since i had a caliper replaced.can't clear it .
getting back to the discs .i understand the point about the bearings and as it turns out one of the rear discs is probably past skimming anyway so it will have to be replaced .i may be able to skim the front discs though .
one thing that i don't understand about the rear brake caliper .why is the piston screwed in or out .what is the purpose .when i have worked on brake calipers in the past it was just a matter of moving the piston back with a it to do with the electronic park brake .
good tip also about bleeding the brakes before reattaching the park break .
