Hi Noel, almost certainly, but I thought there were european rules on how much could be added ... cant remember where I got this .... so it might be total crap ...
In europe the minimum spec for diesel should be a cetane level of 51, most "ulitmate/advanced " fuels are 55-57, but no more than 60 ... so I think thats a limited scope for the kind of difference I've noticed, as I didnt see much of an improvement if any using BP Ultimate or Shell Extra, but honestly Shell V-Power in my opinion was WOW
... and a few of the other replys seem it agree, so there must be more than just cetane .... unless the increments of cetane numbers give improvements that are exponential ?
Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
