Shock Absorber Nut?

Does anybody know what type of nut head secures the rear shock on my Scenic?
It looks like a 22mm or 23mm Hi Torq (like a ring spanner), but I don't want to go buying the wrong spanner if I can help it.
Also, do you think I would be able to drive the Scenic (30 miles round trip) with a snapped shock rod in order to get a replacement - otherwise it's a 5 mile walk to the train station.
