Hi there you are very welcome, I changed the rear shocks on my Lag I a while ago and I was confused at first so I guess it's the same type fitting. The stub at the lower end of the shock on mine had seized into the fitting so I ended up taking the shock off the stub by using a hub puller and hacking of the rubber bush, then I drilled through the stub and used a part from an old socket set and a large hammer to loosen the stub.
