There has to be a plugged hole for the wiring, somewhere to the left related to the clutch pedal and higher towards the steering shaft.
I just remembered that you probably have a RHD Clio, so it's supposed to be the opposite
We fitted a 35 sq mm trough that on my mate's Clio, without the need for drilling any holes.
Since I have worked as an ICE installer, to my experience, manufacturers always leave holes for additional wiring and aftermarket fitments.
Don't forget to install signal and power wires on the opposite sides of the car.
