We have Michelin pilot primacy on our Lag - 23,000miles and still going strong.
I know you have a "higher" performance Lag than our mere 120bhp dci but 8000 miles isn't a lot. Is the tracking ok? It is not uncommon for brand new cars to be delivered with the tracking out. Also are the tyres at the right pressures for the type of driving you do. Without meaning to sound rude a lot of people never bother checking tyre pressures unless the tyres "look" flat. What size are the tyres?

You would probably need to go for some Khumo tyres or other high performance tyres - whilst an excellent tyre (IMO) the Pilots are probably aimed more at the high end saloon market rather than "sports" driving.
