If your car uses a lot of
and needs regular topping up, it's possible that one of the valve guide seals has worn allowing drops of
to enter the combustion chamber and contaminate the sparg plug causing it to misfire.
Another posibility would be head gasket failure.
If the car starts to run badly, check the spark plug to see if it's contaminated with
again. If so, seek professional help to ensure correct diagnosis of the fault.
