laguna 1.9dci missfire?

Recently my 1.9dci laguna has developed an intermittant fault as if it is a missfire or fuel starvation symptoms. It usually happens pulling away in 1st and 2nd gear. So far I have found a pinhole in the fuel pipe before the injection pump which I repaired but didnt fix it. Also changed the fuel filter and checked all hoses for vac leaks. But something that concerns me as well is the amount of oil at the air intakes on the intercooler. For having covered 51000 miles Im not so sure if this is normal for oil to be showing up here. I do change the engine oil and filter at 9000 mile intervals as i think the 18000 interval is stretching it a bit.
If anyone has had experience of similar problems I would appreciate your comments.
