If the discs have torx retaining screws then it is not necessary to undo the hub nut. On the 4-wheel drive models the discs are held in place similar to the fronts - have a looksee to check.
The screws can be a devil to remove and many people end up drilling their heads off. The screws are only there to stop the disc from moving when the wheel is removed so one is enough to do the job. The wheel and it nuts hold the disc in place. THe discs can become corrode to the hub but a big thump with a hammer and a block of wood is usually sufficient to get them shifted.
