Re: Pedal sinking to floor when engine is on

Scratch my request for advice.
Went back out today and discovered I had managed to fit the ends of the caliper spring clips inside the split of the caliper assembly, instead of the outside. Effectively this was forcing the assembly apart every time I took my foot off the pedal, leading to an increase of the required piston movement every time I re-applied the brakes.
Excuse me while I jog on and wipe the egg from all areas of my face!!!!!!
However, could this error be the same for anyone else suffering unexplained pedal loss following brake maintenance?
