And no doubt Moi the untaxed vehicle is on private property in the meantime.
A local guy over here in Northern Ireland was fined for having his untaxed vehicle parked on the forecourt of filling station and he protested that his vehicle was not on the public road - but he had to cough up in the end as the definition of a public road - is a place to which the public have access or are invited.
The sooner they incorporate the cost of road tax into the price of fuel the fairer and easier the system would become. Look at the money that would be saved by not employing thousands of civil servants and letting the mega-rich
companies do the tax collecting for the government.
