There are quite a few moving parts involved in the rear brake shoe system so it could be anything.

If it gets to the point where you can't take anymore, I'd suggest a brake strip, clean and adjust.

Do both sides even if the first side cures it then the adjustment will be the same.

If you take the drum off and pull the handbrake lightly on/off, you might be able to pinpoint the exact source of your noise.

Rear drum brakes often get neglected but they do benefit from a full strip down occasionally.
