Great thread people.

Knocking at rear on 2003 Fidji started Thursday (thought it was buggies in the boot) - got worse on Friday (trip to Beaulieu) - then really bad when navigating over a number of speed lumps on Saturday morning.

SO removed all the stuff from the boot/checked wheel nuts - bounced it etc only happening on bumps and holes on road.

AA call out and said that its the shock

How much roughly should I be expecting to pay from my local garage? as opposed to main dealer IF its a shock replacement? or could it just be a dampener/rubber/nut needs tightening?

Sorry as you can see not a car teccie!!

Thanks in advance
