OK,we supplied a Unipart shock(customer only wanted the broken one replaced...
) and that retailed at £52+vat.I'm sure you could source some cheaper ones from GSF or Eurocarparts.
They are very easy to fit,all you need is a jack,a pair of axle stands and a 21mm 12point socket and ratchet with an extension.They are bolted top and bottom,and you'll need the 12 point socket because the top bolt has a strange head to it which only a 12 point socket will fit on.
As I said,expect around half an hours labour for replacing both together.Again,I would strongly recommend that you change them in pairs.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
