Hi there Deso.

I've got a personal plate which I've had transferred from one car to another (I always get the dealer to do this, before collecting the car), but I'm sure there was a form both I (who owns the reg - i.e. your Wife) and the person who owns the car (which would be you), had to sign and take along with the V5 & certificate (plus MOT, I think). It might be worthwhile searching DVLA's website to see if this form (I can't remember the number, sorry), can be downloaded and completed by both parties. The alternative I suppose is for both you & your Wife to go along to the centre with all the paperwork.

Hope this gives you some help.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
