I had the same problem with the plip key on my laguna 1. I rang every alarm specialist in the yellow pages and everyone said theres no way you can disconnect the factory immoboliser. In the end I found an independant garage that could supply and programme in the new plip key for a quarter of the cost of a renault dealer. Do you have the security code to the van that enables you to by pass the immoboliser temperarily???? If not ring your local renault dealerand ask them to get it for you. At least then you will still e able to use the van until you get the new key.
