Replacement Key

I would'nt bother with a Dealer!, extorsionate prices. Dependant on what type of immobiliser system you have got, ie, Infra red blip or Transponder key with a chip built into the head of the key. Common fault on Clio's etc, the chip starts to lose its memory and the ECU cannot recognise the code in the chip and will not disarm the immobiliser.
You can get a new key and have it programmed or cloned from the old one for about 30 posted, alot cheaper than 108!
However, if the chip in the key is totally buggered, they will not be able to Read the code from the chip when they put it into their machine, therefore you will have NO OPTION but to go to Renault where they will have to either Read the code from the ECU or they may have to Reprogramme the lot.

There are lots of places who can clone your key, just search the internet. Why wait 2 weeks for a new key from France when you can have it done usually within 3 days!
