hi dave willow,yes i have.all you need to do is get a nine volt battery as used in fire alarms then get a battery connector from maplins or other like store then connect this to a cigar lighter torpedo plug like on a car phone charger plug it in then this will keep a small current in the system to keep codes and suchlike,i hope this helps you but i cannot be held responsible for your actions if you try it,i have done this and it worked for me,regards gemsdad.
