I would have thought if you had all of the relevent paperwork the renault dealer should be able to retrieve the radio code, they may levy a charge, they may not. They should also be able to supply the immobiliser code if you need it. I think that there has been previous posts on connecting the old and new batteries whilst changing over but I cant find the post at the mo. sorry
