Flippin heck!! SportTourer, I'm not knocking you, but I'm really glad that mine don't do that.
If you have auto headlights on your laguna the only way to enable/diasble them, as far as I know, is by doing the above. Although Renault dealers can probably permanantly disable them as well.
My auto lights on both our Lag & Megane work fine.
You may find that at this time of year, with the sun being lower in the sky,( although you think the sun is shining on the sensor) you wonder why your lights come on - it's because the angle of the sun is too low so it "appears" to darker so the lights switch on, or if they are on don't switch off because the light sngle is too low.
