Laguna II.

The function of "auto shut" is a configuration set in side the UCH . (the cars computer)
Pressing the lock button for a apx 3 sec's will activate it if configured.
The only requirement to enable this function, is all windows and sunroof MUST be fitted with anti-pinch. Renault will not set this, unless anti-pinch is fitted.

For info

anti-pinch works on measuring the amount of current being drawn by the motors. If a motor is jamed, (your arm stuck in the way) then the current will exceed, and cause the window to rewind by 2 inches.

All laguna have one of the following standards.

1. simple window, expect driver. (auto shut not poss)
2. One touch Anti-pinch (all 4 + roof). (auto shut poss)
3. One touch Anti-pinch with multiplex connection. (this is on the highend, used in connection with auto adjusting seat and mirrors).

in a nut shell, if you have anti-pinch you have it, if not, then it is not poss.
