Re: What van
I purchased a 2009 2.0 back in November 2013 cost me £10,250 since then i have spent a further £3500 the biggest expense was the Quickshift gearbox failure.
The injectors issue was featured on Watchdog & relates to the windscreen / scuttle area dumping water onto the injector area & rusting them in. There are a limited number of Trafic II vans equipped with the 2.0-litre dCi diesel engine (M9R) which can be affected by this issue. These vehicles were built between August 2006 and January 2010. Renault have put their hands up to this & will check the van for free as long as it's less than 7 years old or 248,000 miles - If this issue has caused the injectors to fail then, through the franchised Renault dealer network, they will support customers who are outside the warranty period with a significant goodwill contribution.
I like my van, it's got everything i need, just wish it didn't cost so much.
