Re: What van

As well as being a regular contributor to Renault forums I also am a member of several others including the transit forum. You would not believe the avalanche of complaints and moans from transit owners who have spent £thousands on their vans. Most modern vans are quite complex vehicles compared to 20 years ago. No one makes a cheap n cheerful basic van nowdays, and they are all beset with recurring problems. The gearboxes do have a reputation for being a bit weak, but this seems to be an area that lots of vans fall down on. Don't be put off, the Trafic (or it's alter ego the vivaro) are used by many large companies including the AA so they can't be all bad
