Re: Track/show insurance

What kind of cover have you in mind? eg damage by the public pulling bits off or scratching paintwork with their bags etc? collision on the track? or injury to public? eg if the open bonnet should fall on someone's head

Insurance requirements by show organisers is much stricter and comprehensive these days .... have you any idea if the organisers mention anything about insurance when you apply to enter your car for show?
Maybe the organisers event insurance may already cover participants for injury & damage to public etc, or do they state a waiver saying entry to the event is entirely at your own risk.

Your best bet is to contact a local insurance broker. Most should be able to arrange 1 or 2 day Event Insurance for any kind of event (eg fetes, garden parties, open days etc).

Don't take without giving in return
