Get your callipers stripped n tidied up.

There is a pressure sensor in motor box that basically, it ain't happy, giving you a warning as over stressing the motor. Next stage is knackered motor at much bigger cost.
When you strip it, see how hard handbrake lever is to pull/sticking at that is your probable fault. Can get refurb rubber kits off eBay for 10-15
It probably ain't the sliders but clean them anyway
(I just fitted a new calliper 60 ish at euro)
