Laguna II post 2001 has no Low side port ( in theory ) The welded on High side port on the dehydration cannister on the LHS is in fact a Low side port but with a high side male adapter just to make sure you cant use a standard recharge kit to sort yourself out. Go to AutoKool and you can buy a manifold and guage set with snap adapters. swap the hi-lo side adapters and hey presto you have a kit that will allow you to recharge with a leak stop, oil and r134a bottle. Total cost - 45.00 and in future gas only will cost yuo about 10.00 . Cheaper than those renault monkey mechanics . I did mine after 65-85.00 pa charges from renault and its cold as ice and works fine.
