Hi melly, no you dont ... but you may need to move some of the hoses/wiring out the way to get better access (you dont need to disconnect them though)
Make sure the ribbed washer/seal (its red or green I cant remember
) on the electrical connector is still in place and intact, as this is the usual point where water or crud gets in .... if it is just spray it with WD40 or similar so it makes a good seal when replacing the connector in the sensor.
