I have just had the same thing happen to me, Loss of power the yellow glow plug light coming on then the smoke which filled a the dual carraige way up on both sides!! two fire engines and a police car later, I got towed back to the local garage. Which then replaced the turbo and the intercooler (cost was £1000), the mechanic's have given me advice to sell the car very soon as they believe that they may be another problem with a valve in the head. I am now on my second intercooler, and the car has only done 57,000 miles, I never bothered with Renault whish I had now!!
