My Clio was sent to the Renault dealer yesterday because my local garage couldn't fix the problems or work out why they were still happening.
So Renault said it was definitely the wiring loom and would replaced that for £270, Their reason was we had not removed the tamper proof cage in time it had completely destroyed the wires. And these were sending all sorts of wrong signals to the engine. So off they went confident that this was the problem and guess what? Now its even worse.
When I went to pick it up last night the mechanic said we couldn't take it away because now it cuts out two minutes after turning the engine over, and wont stop revving itself. This wasn't the problem I put it in with it only used to cut out maybe three times a week, now its completely un-drivable. The mechanic said that it was now the
that needed replaced, for another £200.
