I cant really say strongly enough please please dont go down this path of trying to fit cruise control you really will burn your fingers! please read my 1st post on this it will be expensive and you will need to replace computers and have clip to reconfigure the system to know that there is now a cruise and speed limiter in place! if you pee around with this and get it wrong you keep cause a major shut down on the multiplex meaning no abs braking no airbag system etc etc etc! horatio the steering wheel is easy to remove but only do so if you have put your side lights on for a minute with the ignition on all interior lights turned off this is to discharge the system turn lights off wait for 5 min disconnect the battery! safe to play now! if you put the wheel as if you are going straight and look underneath to the rear of the wheel you will see a small hole! you need to put a smallish screwdriver at least 6inches in lenth in the hole and follow the line of the cowling push the screwdriver forward you will come up against a springy feeling this is the locking spring! now what you need to do is push a bit against the spring with one hand and with the other hand slap the air bag section of the wheel in an upward motion and tha centre will come out remove the airbag wiring etc undo the 50 torx bolt knees under the wheel hands on top give it a shake if doesnt come of pull on the top with one hand and hit the side of the wheel with the other! hope this helps! colin
