I had similar prblems in the past. On one occasion I drove the car to a commercial tyre depot and the guys there where able to wind the nut off using their three-quarter dirve air-tool - cost me a tenner though. I took a lever bar and socket with me and put the nut back on.
The other time I was able to grind the nut thin on one side and split it with a chisel but I had to dress up the threads using a thread file.

These nuts are a one-use only item and should be replaced each time after being correctly torqued.

Looks like someone in the past has been over-zealous with the impact windy tool.
