Oh sugar and *&%$ right just when I thought all was sorted Auxillary pulley came off not crankshaft! and knackered the Crankshaft pulley
had to replace both pulleys and the bolt used ones from a Laguna all the same dimensions and teeth etc but got fuel pump timing out so called out a specialist scratched his head and said "tsk needs timin up mate" having started it and the thickest blackest smoke having come out the exhaust! I reversed it off my drive to hear a nasty grinding noise and the car stalled the fella said the clutch is f*&ked mate and headed back to his van the guy then said he'd come back for the money later Hmm he never returned!
Next was the local garage they towed it and sorted the timing but couldn't find anything wrong with the clutch but that the grinding noise was the Power steering pump or the rack he tried bleeding the system but to no avail!
So now I have to replace that and re-flush the engine
out due to water emulsification and drain the coolant flush and refill with coolant!
Anything else that can go wrong probably will in the next week!
